Domaine du charron": rural guest house kept by a christian family that
rejoice to welcome you!
This ancient workshop of the wheelwright, dependency of a building from mid
16th century, has been entirely lift up.
2 small independant flats are available for your holidays.
Kitchen, washing machine, parking, car and bed for small children available
on request.
From 1 to 6 persons, we welcome you during the whole year. Nature, comfort
and calm, all is here for you to rest.
2 terraces and children games are available. And also poneys!
You are looking to rent a flat for holidays but not in a simple hotel? Our
guest house is available for you!
Also ideal if you come from Switzerland or foreign countries and are working
in Geneva, Lausanne, Jura, Neuchatel or Wallis. You also can rent a flat for a
stage, training, ...
The guesthouse is composed of 2 independant rooms.
The first accomodation with kitchen, living and bedroom, bathromm. It is for 1-4
persons) - Surface: 39m2
The second flat with a small kitchen, one bedroom with sofa, small bathroom. -
Surface: 30m2
If you rent the whole building, 6 persons can sleep.
Rent price for the whole week - Rent price for a week-end
Renting for a single night is also possible. Bed linen are inclusive as are bath
towel.

Circled by grass and bedding plants colored from spring to fall, the "Gîte du
Charron" is near all services.
Groceries and bakeries, a butcher shop and a drugstore, but also two banks
and a postoffice, all nearby.
Yverdon-les-Bains
In front of the "Neuchâtel" lake. To discover: the old city, its museum, the
castle Without forgetting the thermal bath!
Lausanne
In from of the Geneva lake. To discover: the cathedral, the lakefront in Ouchy,
the market in the city center, the expositions Without forgetting the Olympic
museum!
Vallorbe
In the Jura To discover: the iron museum, the big caves, the sources of the
"Orbe" river, the buffalos and bears park Without forgetting fishing at the fish
breeding center.
Near the France border, the "Franche Comté" region also has lots of wealth to
show.
In Chavornay, you'll find a "natural reserve" where we can observe everglade
wildlife.
In this wonderful region, you'll be able to go walking along the rivers,
discover its source and even take a bath.
In addition, the "Orbe" river plain is very nice to go biking, lots of bicycle
paths are well prepared along the sunflowers fields or the canals.
Don't miss to visit the wonderful town of Romainmôtier. With its abbey-church
from the 11th century, it's a must have seen.
The horse museum in "La Sarraz", the "wheat and bread" museum in Echallens are
fascinating.
In summer, the swimming-pool in "Orbe" is really appreciated, not saying about
its water slide!
Its "Roman mosaic" are outstanding.
But if you prefer to go eating a "Swiss fondue", a lot of typical mountain
chalet are waiting for you, with an incredible sightseeing on the three lakes.
About the winter season, ski tracks, luge or snowshoe hikes are all waiting for
you, either in Switzerland or in neighboring France. Dent de Vaulion and Lac de

Handcraft
The domain is cercled by fruit-trees: plum-tree, prune-tree, cherry-tree,
pear-tree, apple-tree, apricot-tree, quince-tree and vine. Diverse "Home made"
products are at your disposal for tasting:

owen!

This region gives a lot of possibilities for children (activities, zoo, sport,
lake, ...)
Stewardship and technic
The Charron domain uses photovoltaics panels to produce electricity, along with
solar energy to heat some of the needed water. Rain water is salvaged for site
requirements.
